Are you familiar with America's Favorite Mom contest? Anyone can nominate a mom to be America's Favorite Mom. There are many wonderful women who are currently nominated, all deserving of winning this contest. But there is one mom that caught my eye and my heart tells me she is the one who should win this contest. Heather Nolan of Raeford, NC is a friend to many. She lost an 8 year old daughter to cancer in 1997. And now Heather is fighting breast cancer, stage 4. She is also only 38 years old. Heather's husband is in the Army and hopes to retire in 3 years. Heather hopes to be there and enjoy retirement years with her husband and her children.
