Another Wonderful Introduction

I find it so energizing to meet people who are making a difference. While there are many who are focused on fighting breast cancer (bless all of them), I recently came across a group called "Boobs On The Move" and wanted to understand how they fit in with my personal objectives of fighting breast cancer and raising funds for Susan G. Komen For The Cure. It was my pleasure to learn that the Booms On The Move is a delightful group committed to fighting breast cancer and helping to raise funds for Susan G. Komen For The Cure! And, they are certainly doing a great job at it.

While I'll report more on "Boobs On the Move", in future postings, I want to increase awareness of a nearterm event that I hope all of you will support.

On Sat., February 23rd 7am - Noon, Boobs On the Move is hosting their 4th Annual Garage Sale. This event is to be held at 1473 Village View, Encinitas, CA 92024 phone# 760-634-1654. While they can use some volunteer help (e.g. haulers, sorters, sales support), they are accepting donations thru this Friday. And what they need, for this fundraising event to be successful, is for people to come and shop at this great garage sale. So, please go check out this garage sale fundraiser this coming Saturday. Last year this event had donations from 18 families and raised $1,800.

Also, on Sat., Feb 23rd from 7pm-11pm Boobs on the Move is helping to raise funds for Komen by a "CRASH ENCORE VIDEO PREMIERE PARTY". Check out "Story Weather" video premiere from local band, Crash Encore. Downtown at Buzz Clothing, 630 10th Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101 619-269-3764. Great event for singles and couples. Come have fun and help raise funds Boobs on the Move to ultimately benefit Komen.
